IT'S '08 EVERYONE! THE MASSAS WIFE SYNDROME IS SO PLAYED OUT & TIRESOME. WHO COULD BE INTIMIDATED BY OR DESPISE THEIR OWN REFLECTION? CALL IT SELF HATRED. THE THING THAT ANNOYS ME IS THAT WHITE WOMEN TRULY BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE EVERY BLACK MANS DREAM. THAT ALSO IS QUITE LAUGHABLE BECAUSE I AM CERTAIN THAT THEY ARE NO COMPETITION FOR ME IN ANY ARENA. WITH OR WITHOUT THE FAKE LIPS BOOBS TANS OR WHATEVER ELSE THEY CAN BUY TO TURN THEMSELVES INTO GROTESQUE  PLASTIC MONSTERS.  BEAUTY IS IMPERFECT & RAW! NOT A CLICHE. IT CERTAINLY CANT BE BOUGHT! WHITE WOMEN CANT BUY OR IMITATE THIS HAIR. SO BLACK WOMEN  PLEASE STOP FEEDING THEIR EGOS WITH THE PERMS & THE WACK WEAVES THEY LOOK AS RIDICULOUS AS OUR LIPS LOOK ON THEM. my beautiful black sistas not all black men want a white women or any other woman of a different race,but you have to understand the situation before you judge. The average black woman in these times who are college educated  semi smart does not want a brother unless he can do this and do that as far as taking care of her paying all her bills providing almost everything for her which is not bad but some brothers do not feel they should have to do that specially if they are not married to that woman and i am one of them some women feel just because they are extremely beautiful that us brothers should lay out the red carpet and provide everything ..... i don't think so . in the beginnning  the dating process i feel it should be 50/50 until it hits the 6 month period by that time u know if you are going to truly be with that person. that's why alot of brothers date outside there race it's less expectations of what is required by them and know disrespect to the sistas but alot of you women are headaches and that is coming from ablack man   

Hi. I have lived in Europe for ten years and I have experienced different cultures throughout Europe. I would like to address this rhetoric about black men not wanting black women. I am getting really tired of all of the pseudo educated people comming up with these off-the-wall theories on why we as black men are not dating black women. I am a black man and I am currently dating a white woman. I am not dating her because she is easy, submissive, or has low self-esteem as many of you black women suggest without providing any definitive proof to support your claims, but because I love her and she is there when I need her. She has prooven to me time and time again that she cares for me and will do anything for me when I am struggling unlike a lot of you same black women that are complaining about not having a man. I do not hate black women, I think black women are very beautiful but lack social experience so they come up with  these pseudo justifications on why we do not want them to feel better about themselves. Loosing your temper or getting loud in a restaurant does not make you a strong woman. Going to a community college and not completing it does not make you educated. Black American women do not nurture their children, that is why many of us grow up with no confidence and hating the world. White men and black men in Europe do not mind dating Black-European women in fact,many of them lust for the black women. We don't date black women in America because they do not know how to act like women. They have little or no experience because they have not been tought properly. Black-European women embrace there femininity and do not try to emulate men as Black-American women do. It is only the American black woman who is the least desirable women in the world and she does not understand why so she proceeds to blame the white woman or the black man's ingorance for dating outside of there race. Black women claim to be educated but I conducted a study where I went to jobs where black women worked and they did not know how to correctly perform there jobs and often they turned to white women for assistance. Going to a non-accredited vocational school for 6 months and comming out with a bachelor's does not make you educated. I attend a prestigous university and the only women I see are white. I have literally only seen two black women. I only hope one day Black women in America wake up and realize that changing their behavior and attitude toward life,will make them more desirable to all men. This is not an attack on black women, only an observation so please don't be mad at me.

It saddens me to Black men embracing stereotypes. In this life we attract what we live. If you truly believe all black women are relentless, gold digging, sexless, emasculating, and shrill, it follows there is something in you which attracts such negativity. At some point we all have to engage is some introspection to strike out at the world is a waste of energy.

It is amazing to me in a city where 75% of the people are African American, white men are more likely to strike up an intelligent conversation with me than college educated black men. I'm more impressed with the intellect of a man than his money. I have my own!

This article really stood out for me!!! So many black women in my opinion are left to raise families on their own, many (but not all) of A/A men don't want the responsibilty. Im not sure of all the reasons!! I believe many black women are very resentful for this. I also.... strongly believe that slavely played a hugh factor in how black women and men, to this day treat one another!!! I pray and hope that we will over come some of these obstacles..... because our future generations are depending on it!!!! ONE LOVE!!

I am mixed, to say I am an Oreo. Yes I am half black /half white. And raised white as well.  But get targeted by both cultures so i like whatever. I was reading this article.  And I reflected upon myself why i stopped dating Black women. They gave the top 10 reasons as

1. Black women make black men feel underappreciated, unwarranted and irresponsible and regressive.
2. Black women are too aggressive and no longer patient in waiting on the pursuit of a man.
3. Black women are strong headed, too independent which presents great challenges in relationships.
4. Black women are masculine in that they are controlling and like to run the relationship.
5. Black women expect too much. They are gold diggers who will not look twice at a blue collar black man.
6. Black women are hot headed and have bad attitudes.
7. Black women stop caring about their appearance after a certain age.
8. Black women are not as sexually open as other races, especially in regards to oral sex.
9. Black women's tolerance is far too low; they are no longer empathetic to the black man's struggle in white America.
10. Black women do not cater to their men.

As to this list, 1, 3, 5, and 6 are the most prevalence for me.

To the issue of 1, it more underappreciated, that I have found most black women don't appreciate what been attained.

In the area of #3 I have found Black women would clash wills more often than other women, to say not be submissive but to communicate.

While 5 is prevalence in any woman of any race, I have felt black women want instantaneous financial income.

And in regards to #6, the street thug attitude is not needed. That means you don't have to snap your fingers at me and say "You don't own me". My response is if I wanted to own something i get a dog.

I stopped dating black women back in 1993, just from what i listed from my perspective. I never even thought to date a black woman till February 2007, where I met a beautiful woman. It lasted 8/9 month.

To say Xmas 2007 I emailed her and told her I am in Dallas, and i can come and see her since she was not going home for the holidays. Well she called me and said she was too busy to see me. I was like WTH? Thinking, got no classes so what you busy with?  So I was like whatever. She calls me around Jan 10th. I told her I was done with her. Goodbye.

 I haven't dated a black woman since.

I find some black women attractive, beautiful eyes, smile, sexy and even intelligent. But when getting to know a black woman, somewhere along the lines, that (ghetto)attitude comes up and kills the infatuation. There is no need for it. Both male and female go thru some kind of racial bashing and get treated less then human, but there no need to bring forth that attitude against one another. To me, I see it when it rises, you see me as an oppressor. I have better things to do.

  And even being an Oreo, I tend to date Asian and Latino women more often then not.

 And I count myself lucky as I have no criminal record, don't do drugs, don't smoke, and I rarely drink. And in these times, I have a job that I have no worries in being laid off. Asto rsponsibility of a family been wanting it since i was 23.
